Opportunities to Serve at OUUC
When you help out,
- you make our congregation more welcoming and vibrant.
- you build relationships with others and create community.
- you learn and grow spiritually.
- bring justice to our world.
Want to talk to someone about all the opportunities? Contact Bonnie Guyer Graham, Congregational Life Coordinator, to talk about how you might find a way to help you get connected at Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation.
Co-Leader Warm Windows Project – Green Sanctuary Environmental Justice
Want to do something about energy waste, social justice, and OUUC’s outreach to the larger community? The OUUC Warm Window Project has built hundreds of storm windows to keep households warmer over the past 5 years. We are looking for an energetic co-leader to help keep this successful and worthwhile project going in the years ahead.
Joe Joy says: I would like to mentor someone to take the project lead on in one or two years, so I would show them all aspects of the job. I don’t intend on leaving the project all together; I’d be around as a volunteer during the workshops.
Be the messenger. We are seeking someone who likes to craft messages, who is organized and approachable, who is skilled at editing, proofreading and delegating. Be the person who helps our large event teams get the word out to our congregation and to the larger community. For a complete description, read Communications Quarterback

We need just a few more people to serve coffee after the 11 am service. This is a great opportunity to say hello while giving each happy person a cup of coffee on Sunday mornings. That greeting warms people’s hearts. If you want to join this vibrant team of coffee folks, contact Amy Huntley to learn more and find a Sunday or two that work for you.
