I am simply heart sick about the leaked Supreme Court decision to strike down Roe. We may have seen this coming, but it doesn’t make it any easier now. And for those of us who were not paying attention before, it’s very much at the center of debate and discussion now. So what can we do? How do we talk about reproductive justice, and how do we support it?
I’ve gathered a few resources to help you get started. First, a time sensitive one: Side with Love will host an online discussion on Tuesday, May 17th: Heart-to-Heart: Abortion Conversations & Action for a Post-Roe World (everyaction.com)
And I’ve created a padlet to organize other resources, including some for families with young children or youth and for those who want to take action or find an organization to support. It’s not over, and our UU values call on us to work for a world where reproductive justice and the inherent worth and dignity of everyBody are affirmed and true for everyone.
