The Share the Plate (STP) Committee is looking for some new members to help out with the 2022 Share the Plate process. We are currently finalizing our 2022 application and criteria and then will encourage organizations to apply for the six recipient two-month windows in 2022. This year we are planning on adding a new “Application Coach” option, with certain members of the STP Committee serving as coaches to help applicants best present their organization in the application. We are always looking to find ways to discover, notify and encourage deserving organizations to apply for STP. We also would love to have some younger members join the Committee and help us become more diversified. The Fall is the STP Committee busy season – as we refine the application, encourage applicants, review applications, and choose the six recipient organizations for the following year. The rest of the year is a lighter load, with relatively low time requirements. If you are interested, and especially if you have experience or interest in helping coach applicants, finding deserving applicants, or are one of our younger OUUC members, and can commit to a one-year involvement, please contact Bob Brennand.
Share the Plate and the Minister’s Benevolence Fund have donated literally hundreds of thousands of dollars to local non-profit organizations. Last year we had record donations thanks to the generosity of OUUC members, and this year is shaping up to be another great year. Thanks so much for your kind donations.
